I thought everyone else in the sangha must just be very disciplined about sitting in discomfort, since I could never stay still very reliably or for very long. In the posture lesson, I learned about the mechanics of the body, and my body specifically. This increased awareness means that now I do know what I need to do to sit well and pain-free. I never imagined that given the right set of simple adjustments, my body could hold itself up so comfortably. I recommend the posture lesson to anyone looking to improve their stability, and bring comfort and ease in their sitting. I have a long way to go to remember these tools each time I sit, but I can already see an improvement. Thank you!
